A Fishy Evening

So there is no picture for this post but I HAD to share it with all. I had spent 5 hours cleaning, I have a little side cleaning job, and had just got home. Let me rewind a little bit……While I was gone Sammie had gone Ice fishing with her friends. She had brought home a small fish, like the size of a silver dollar. Let me clarify, it actually originally belonged to the next door neighbor, Matthew. However Matthews Grandma, with whom he lives, did not allow him to bring it in the house, so naturally he brought it to mine. Since I was not home the kids gladly took the fish in, put it in a cup and into my fridge. Fast forward……I am now home and exhausted from cleaning someone else’s house, and Sammie starts to tell me about the fish she got while ice fishing. I am trying to think of a way to get out of cooking the fish when she it to me. It was probably bait at one time. So I tell Griffin to bag the fish and take it out to the trash. About 10 minutes later I notice him looking for something, and realized he had an empty bag in his hand. THE SAME BAG THAT THE FISH WAS IN!!!!! Yes, Griffin lost a little, slimy, smelly fish in my house!!! Yeah, you laugh, but I was not amused! We spend almost an hour scouring our house looking for the dang fish. We found it on Sammie’s top bunk, on top of her journal, between the wall and the pillow.
GRIFFIN’S Story: “I was walking down the hall towards my bedroom looking for my shoes. I was waving the bag back and forth, when I noticed the fish was gone.” While he is telling the story he is gently swinging the bag. Apparently the swinging was enough to make it from the hallway across Sammie’s room and up to the top bunk. Ugh!!!! SO NOT FUNNY! At least the fish was found.

A Las Vegas Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was so fun this year. We Spent it with our "Williams" clan in Las Vegas. The kids have missed their cousins so much , it was so wonderful to see everyone. We hung out at a HUGE house, with an even bigger pool that the kids put to use over and over. There was a lot of yummy food as usual, game nights, bumper cars, roller coaster and tons more fun.

Cooper was the star, he had so many cousins willing to wrestle and play with him. Lots of aunts trying to win him over, and Grand ma and Papa to snuggle and kiss. And of course Brooke's Kermit the Frog jammies and backwards diapers, wink, wink. (ask Brooke about that one)

I can't wait for next year. I miss everyone already. We are so grateful to have such an amazing family! We love and miss you all so much.

Another cousin named Jake, and a Grandma and Popie visit

So, yes this is old but I thought I would still post the pictures so we can all get caught up. Not too much to say except we are all loving our new baby Jake. It took some time but Cooper likes him too. As long as Cameron doesn't hold him too much.
